I like talking with and building friendships with our patients. It’s fun to see a patient’s confidence and self-esteem blossom as they move through treatment. At the end, those finished smiles have me smiling and celebrating with our patient. I’m here to help patients with scheduling their visits at convenient times. I also answer our phones and accept payments. I’m busy, but never too busy for a chat and to hear the latest news!
My husband’s name is Mark. I have a daughter, Sophia, as well as three dogs and a cat. When I’m not working, I like to read, garden, and go camping.
I enjoy being part of a great team in which my coworkers feel like family members. We’re all committed to providing the best orthodontic experience for our patients and will do everything possible to make patients smile. I assist patients with their financial needs. I handle billing statements, filing and tracking insurance claims, posting production and posting payments, and collections. I also answer our phones and schedule visits.
I live in Montgomery County with my husband and three children. I enjoy working outdoors, going to sporting events, and most of all, spending time with my family.
I enjoy being a part of a fun and professional team who enjoy the lives they change every day! I am the first one you will see at your initial visit, and I will go over the treatment plan Dr. Altschul has customized for you and guide you to get your treatment started. We serve incredible patients and I enjoy seeing how the care we deliver improves their lives.
I love spending time with my husband, Dave, our five kids, and Addie, our Siberian Husky. We enjoy camping, baseball, football, and riding our Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
I work behind the scenes at Altschul Orthodontics, so I don’t get to see many of our patients at the office. But when I see our patients out in the community, I do get to hear their compliments about our practice, Dr. Altschul and our team, and the wonderful smiles we create!
I have the honor to delivering care packages to our Brownsburg Partners: schools, dentists, and patients. It’s a lot of fun to bring a smile to people. I order supplies, talk with vendors, and make sure the staff is taken care of so they can concentrate on what’s important: our patients’ happiness and their smiles.
Dr. Altschul and I have been married since 2000. We have five wonderful daughters. We recently adopted a gerbil, but don’t worry, the girls made sure it is a female, so their Dad would remain King of the House! I love to go swing dancing with Aaron, as well as trying new ethnic restaurants; Ethiopian food is my current favorite. I’m active in the Mom’s Group at St. Malachy, and Aaron and I lead numerous Financial Peace University classes there.
I have been a proud part of Altschul Orthodontics since 2007. Having more than 35 years of experience in orthodontics, I can say without a doubt that this office is really something special. Dr. Altschul and our team really enjoy getting to know our patients and like to make the office friendly and fun. Our biggest goal is to make beautiful smiles that are full of confidence! My part in the process consists of assisting during procedures, removing wires, taking patient records, pouring models, and making sure our patients are well-informed of their progress. I also visit with our partners in the community.
My life outside the office is filled with two wonderful sons, and lots of family and friends. My significant other Mike and I enjoy taking our horses camping and trail riding. We also love to line dance!
I like watching our patients move through treatment and seeing the joy on their faces when they see their finished smile. They can’t stop looking in the mirror, grinning and laughing, and I am smiling right along with them. They’re going to love that smile for the rest of their life! I assist Dr. Altschul during appointments, and take radiographs, impressions, and pictures. I also place, tie, and untie archwires. I handle some of our office ordering and external marketing tasks, too. And I work in the lab making retainers and sending out models for appliance fabrication.
When I’m not working, I love time with my family and friends. We enjoy games, crafts, camping, canoe trips, and watching movies. I have a cat, Kershaw, who’s named after a Dodgers pitcher.
I started my dental career as an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Altschul in 2008. For a few years, I was lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my youngest child. I have now come back "home" and rejoined the practice. I absolutely love working alongside Dr. Altschul and the rest of the team. I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families as we work together to perfect those amazing smiles. I help by placing and removing archwires, and I assist Dr. Altschul during appointments. I also take radiographs, impressions, and pictures.
My husband Clint and I have 4 beautiful children. As a family, we enjoy camping, off-road cross-country racing, sporting events, and spending as much time as possible with extended family and friends.
Having worked in orthodontics for over 30 years, I have a natural enthusiasm for this field. I enjoy the process from beginning to end! When I moved back home to Indiana after 30 years in Michigan, I was thrilled to join such a hard-working team of professionals at Dr. Altschul's office. We are dedicated to serving our patients and the community, and show a special compassion toward our patients. We operate in a fun, light-hearted manner. I am in charge of keeping all the instruments and equipment sterilized and disinfected. When working in the lab, I pour and trim our plaster models. I also fabricate retainers and manage the shipping and receiving of orthodontic appliances. You will also find me assisting the clinical staff with x-rays and impressions.
I have been married to Steve for over 36 years. We have a son and daughter, and also our Golden retriever, Layla. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, fitness, and outdoor activities like hiking and traveling. Most of all, I love to spend time with family and friends.
